Question about historical league
I have not purchased a version of the game since the very early 2003 version and have never used the historical data bases. I am now (finally) thinking of upgrading to OOTP 8/2007 and have a historical league question.
Rather than use the entire historical team from any given year or league, can players be drafted initially onto completely new teams made up of many different players (similar to the old, old, old Superstar Baseball card sim created by Sports Illustrated in the 70's)? Any help would be appreciated and I AM looking forward to my upgrade! Tim |

You can mix and match history to your heart's content. Want to see what the Atlanta pitching staff of the '90s would do with the lineup of the 1927 Yankees? You can do that. Then they can play the Big Red Machine in the same division.
Any player can be imported out of the historical databases into any time frame you want, basically.
