Where the hell is Jim Palmer?
OK, I think I need some help in reading the Lahman database.
I've played 1963-1966 and not seen Palmer come into the league. What on earth is happening? |

He imports in 1963 as a rookie in my database. Don't know what the issue could be.

Question: if I set the minimum age in the league to 17 (for a historical league, obviously), would that delay the year the players enter? For example, would Bench come in a year later at 17 instead of 16? |

Maybe Palmer was hanging out with Waldo and Carmen Sandiego.

Looking at the Gambo 1.75 pure DB, he should import in '63. I also took a look at Garlons DB and Lahman 5.4, and for both of those DB's it looks like Jim would import in '65

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you. |
