Help with Settings - Page 2

These settings work pretty well. Change the modifiers from 1 to these numbers starting from the top of the league totals
Hits=.939 2b=.639, 3b = .986, hr .513, bb .302, hbp .196, k .148, err 6.54, dp 1.461, sp end 1.339, rp = 1, gb% .865, wp .764, balks .063, pb 11.604, sac fly .401, sac bunt .253, sba .783, sb% .819

And that is that. Now go clean the muck off..........

Jaguar8311, I was wondering if you could give me an update on how your settings are working out for you? I am also new to OOTP from BBM and I am interested in creating a fictional league with the same concept as yours. I have been messing around with the era_stats.txt, but just can't seem to get it right. It seemed smooth at the beginning but then all of a sudden 7 years down the road avg. and HR's started to plummet. Any help would be appreciated.

Does not work, there is always a number that either goes up or plummets.

I got a new computer, so I can test things out MUCH MUCH faster

The modifiers were growing exponentially and that is fixed in the next patch. So your plummeting/rising challenge should go away.

Still have problems with it, There is always one thing that goes wrong, I fix a problem and it leads to another problem.

All the modifiers except Sac hits seem to grow more normally after the latest release.

Which specific ones are you still having challenges with?

Reviving this thread, I tried using the option "Import Historical Player Creation Modifiers", and there is a fair amount of home runs until 1920, after that, league leaders hit no more than 2 homeruns a season!. Babe Ruth had 3!.

When I uncheck import historical player creation, I get too many home runs, 20+ guys with 50 homeruns
