unrealistic useage

setup 69 Rettenmund was 159 ab's game used him for 565 ab's what gives with usage?

setups are ignored , how can people play historical replays with usage this off?

If, in your replay, a starter suffers a long-term injury, he has to be replaced by a backup. This, of course, will throw "usage" off. FYI, I just simmed the 1969 season. Rettenmund batted 145 times.

Won't they be thrown off either way? That is, if you have injuries off, if a starter was injured in real life but they're not in OOTP, won't OOTP play them more than they did IRL? Is there a special setting for this? I'm not a historical player, I'm just curious.

Yes, Yes, and No.

OOTP9 does not allow the import of "as-played" lineups or transactions.
