Dh Rule

I noticed that the strategy for 5 man rotation automatically changes to 5 man rotation in 1980. Now my question if you start a league say in the fifties will the set up for DH change or do we manually do it. Thanks

When I did this, it happened automatically.

Also, the playoff expanded automatically.

A small point in regards to the use of the DH rule in the World Series: the game will use the current rule of the DH only being used in games played in the AL park.

In reality, from 1973-75 the DH wasn't used in the World Series at all, and from 1976-85 use of the DH alternated each year. In even-numbered years the DH was used in all World Series games and in odd-numbered years the DH wasn't used at all. In 1986 the home park rule for DH use was adopted.
