'Import Complete History' option

I'd like to start a Historical League starting in 1901, but with blank career and single-season record leaderboards. When I create the game, it doesn't seem to matter whether I click the box next to 'Import Complete History' or not - no matter what, I see Hugh Duffy and his .440 Single Season BA, and Willie Keeler and all the rest of those guys who hold the season and carrer records as of 1901.

Is it possible to start a historical replay in 1901 with no pre-existing season and carrer records? I'd like those all to be blank and to start right there in 1901, and not to count all the years leading up to that point.

I thought that was the point behind the 'Import Complete History' option was, but I'm not so sure - any ideas? Thanks!

Go to league setup, "functions", "erase the entire league history".

And same question, but what if you've already started the sim from 1901, and now it's 1914?

Can I somehow erase the statistics from pre-1901? Or maybe erase just all the "records" from pre-1901?
