Player Switched From Pitcher To Batter
I had a player Rene Monteagudo who started in my league as a pitcher, then all of a sudden 5 years in switchs to becoming a batter. Checked this guy out at Wikipedia and indeed he switched to batter after arm problems. Never have seen this before and I've had a lot of Historical Leagues. As a sidenote he was blacklisted from the majors in 1946 for playing in the Mexican League..

As a baseball fan who grew up in the 1970s, I never knew much about the Dead Ball Era, so that's where OOTP really shines for me - it's a great game and a baseball history lesson at the same time! |
