Quick Question on historical league financials
In historical leagues, does the game change the market size of the teams from year to year based on some kind of model of city population? I've played 4 seasons now, and I've seen average attendance, average ticket price, and so forth change. But no teams have experienced a change in market size during those 4 years.
Thanks if anyone can explain how this works. |

I'm not sure how it works, but I do seem to remember someone saying that the market sizes change, but that it does so more slowly than in previous versions of the game.

Thanks, I hope you are right. Maybe since I've started in an early year, none of the teams have enough market size to make the change yet. They all imported as 0, so I'll hope that over time some of the markets will enlarge enough to see some change. Given that American population was roughly doubling every 25 years up until the early 1920s when immigration quotas went into effect, it might not take long if the population models are correct. But then again, compared to today's city sizes, even a fast growing city in the late 1800s does not look very big. So it may be a while.
