trouble with attributes in history please help me.

I loaded 1986 rosters. Barry Bonds is like 22 at the time. His contact is 8 his power is 12 (1-20). His potential for contact is 8 and his potential for power is 13. This just doesnt seem right. why don't I see potential 20 (that's a record)? Some players just seem off. What should I do with my settings. I believe it's set for "Peak seasons of career" potential ratings, too. What am i doing wrong?

That's because at age 22, those were his actual potentials. If you turn recalc on, you'll see them rise as he ages. Or, you can leave recalc off and see what happens. Some players who were great may be scrubs and vice versa. Another one of the beauties of OOTP.
