Downloading historical players/teams question..

I did this once before and don't seem to remember this happening...

I'm trying to do a "best of" team for the White Sox. I've downloaded the 1983, 1993, 2000 and 2005 Historical teams. However, the stats for all the players are showing from the previous season. Example, I downloaded the 1983 team and Carlton Fisk's stats are from 1982. Ron Kittle doesn't even have stats since his rookie year was '83.

Even if I do the players individually..i.e. downloaded Mark Buehrle from '05 and his last year of stats are from '04?

Is there a problem here? I don't remember this happening before when I did it. I thought if you download a team from year 1234, the stats shown would be including year 1234...

Help please.

I do believe there is an option for importing to include or not include the stats for the year you are importing. If you want them you say yes.

if you want 1984 Carlton Fisk, then import 1985 Fisk and that will be based on 1984

Just bought OOTP 10, and looks great!

Question, How do I download individual players, or teams from previous years? Example, Duke Snider, Ray Sadecki, or the entire 1967 Detroit Tigers team alone?

Help would be much appreciated. Thanks
