Historical Players - Fictional Franchises

I would like to have a leage (beginning in 1950) using historical players but fictional francises. I have edited all the .csv files I can find that relate to team ID's and info including the player files so they reference the new team ID. However, when I start the league, the teams that are imported are the original team cities and names with the new ID.

What am I missing here?

Kill the .odb file in the same place you found the CSV files. The file that will then control franchises is the teams.csv file.

BTW: I spend a week or so every year at Iron Springs.

I had deleted the .odb file from the main directory prior to beginning this exercise so this does not appear to be the problem.

BTW: My neighbor worked at Iron Springs for sometime.

Then check the teams.csv, that is where league default setups come from. I actually had done this earlier today to test something, the changes to teams.csv showed up in the game.

I had edited the "left hand" fields before but found some more way over on the right that I didn't fix. Thanks.

Now however, I don't have the proper sub-leagues. I opted for and Eastern and Western rather than American & National. The American & National show up and the teams appear in the league where they actually play. I thought I edited all of the league info, but apparently have missed something.

Thanks in advance.
