Historical Start - Real Draft Pool

I've tried a historical start a couple of different times, but I would like to get real players in the draft. Every time I do it the draft pool is fictional.

What can I do?

Check the database path for the players you wish to import and make sure it is correct.

I told it to install the new Lahman database I downloaded and put in the stats folder. It loaded the database, but the draftees aren't there.

When you're loading the database you must point the game to either the Master.csv file or the historical database.odb file (The entire Lahman database all squished together which creates a faster load time of the database) which are both in the stats folder and load one of them. Merely pointing to the stats folder is not sufficient to achieve the result that you're looking for. I hope this helps and welcome to OOTP.

I've tried all everything you mentioned. I give it a bath to the Lahman or the Historical Database and I still get fictional draftees.

PLUS the new Lahman DB (ver 5.7) is NOT compatible with OOTPX. You need to use the one that comes with OOTPx.

I figured it out, the problem was that I didn't have automatically import rookies selected.

The problem I'm having now is that no rookies seem to be importing as I turned off the amateur draft.

How do I simply assign rookies in 2005 to the teams that actually drafted them? I'm in Spring 06' with no rookies from the 05' draft.

How about past Draft Classes into a League or Historical people into Draft that already has Fictional People?
