BZ 3156: AI Waiver issues

Just imported from OOTP9 to 10. I noticed that the waiver wire went from 8 players in OOTP9 to 70 in OOTP10.

Some boarderline players are on waivers and some real good ones.

I was thinking it had to do with the new pitching system but when things like these happen, I have to wonder what is up. I'll just use one team for an example but this is happening everywhere.

Burbank Black Barons:
Warren Spahn - who was a starter, leading his team with a 2.13 ERA, DEMOTED to AAA.
Dwight Gooden - starter, doing okay. Now #4 on the long reliever list.
Trevor Hoffman - was their closer, doing fine. Now #2 in the rotation. The closer is now the immortal Gary Knotts.

This has to be some sort of bug.

And if it's NOT a bug. . .

Either way, I'll be on OOTP9 until this is addressed.

BTW, pictured below is Spahn. Clearly, the man needs some time in AAA.

Same happened to me after importing my OOTP 9 dynasty to OOTP 10. 102 players were waived by AI at once. All from prospects to proven and well playing big leaguers.
