BZ 3269: Schedule date changed even with auto-adjust disabled

My AA and A level leagues both start on May 1 despite the fact that I have tried to set them for April 14. Who's the micromanager among the playtesters?

Did you perhaps leave the "Auto adjust date if matching XML schedule found" option checked?

ballman, I'm certain this won't be the last obstacle you run into and we'll try to help all we can. Can we, in turn, ask that when you start threads you try to describe briefly the problem in the thread title. It's very difficult to know and relocate threads that simply say, By the Way, or And another thing.... Be as specific as you can and it'll be faster for someone who knows to try and address that problem. Thanks in advance.

Odd, but I tried both appraoches and both of them returned the same May 1 starting date for both AA and A level leagues. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a very impoertant issue, but this is a new issue tio ver 10 that did not exsit before.

This seems to be very closely related to another issue that I logged earlier today:

BZ 3266: All-star game appears in schedule when option disabled

On the surface, it doesn't seem to be the same thing, but under the covers it appears to be the same issue: OOTP seems to be selecting XML schedules and adjusting the schedule even when the auto-adjust box is unchecked.

I have logged this, though, as BZ 3269, in case they are actually separate issues.

Since there's not a lot of action on this issue I presume that it's relatively rare. Let me just add that it is happening to me, and the reset occurs on the first day of the off season.
