BZ 3281: Rule 5 Draft screen problems (#3)
I encountered the following problems working through a Rule 5 draft:
1. As I clicked on the "Continue Draft" button to work through the draft team by team, the "Position" menu alternately disappeared and reappeared.
2. My team's 40-man roster is full, so my team should not be able to draft a player in this draft. When it came my team's turn to draft, I was still able to click the "Scouting Director's Recommendation" button and get a player's information in the "Selected Player" area. The button at the bottom of the "Selected Player" area changed to "Draft This Player", and it was not obvious how I should proceed. (The answer turned out to be to click the "Draft This Player" button, even though I knew I could not draft the player. That action brought up an error message stating that my roster was full, and cleared the Selected Player area. It is not obvious that that is the method that clears the Selected Player, nor is it obvious what one should do if one has room on the 40-man roster but decides not to draft a recommended player and skip the round instead.)
3. The screen correctly displays an error message when you drag a player who belongs to your organization into the Selected Player area. However, if you click the "Help" button in the error dialog, it brings up help_mb_page_base.tpl, which is a message to the effect that "You have manually retired a player ....", which has nothing to do with the situation in question. (Note: this same help page also comes up if you click the "Help" button on the error message that appears in case #2 above, that you cannot draft a player in rule 5 when the 40-man roster is full.)
4. The Selected Player area shows a line for "Bonus Demand", which makes sense during an Amateur Draft, but not during a Rule 5 Draft.
