BZ 3375: Too many hit batsmen when playing out games

Ok, I posted this in the general discussions thread but now this is serious.

One game and I had 4 hit batters in a row. No umpire warnings or ejections. Now in every game I have played in two different saves,(one default rosters and one fictional league) I have had at least one hit batter and so far no warnings or ejections. This could be a problem with the game engine. Love the game but this is too many hit batters and the umpires should be doing something.

Another thing I noticed is that hit batters show up in the batters stats but I can not find it in the pitchers stats at all.

Hi Dolphinfan,

Thanks for your post, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The first few weeks after the release are always pretty busy around here!

I've logged this issue as BZ 3375, and I'll ask Markus to take a look at it.

Can you clarify?

a) These HBPs are occurring when you play out games, correct? Not simming?

b) When you say you can't see them in the pitcher's stats, do you mean while you are playing out the game, or even after the game has been completed?

Thanks,

Steve
