BZ 201: retaining transactions
I started a historical league. In Global Setup under Auto-Save & Log Options, I selected "Keep transactions logs..." and set it to "all." I have the almanac set to archive yearly (Jan. 1st of each new year). Yet, the only transactions that are kept are from the end of the World Series, through the end of December for that calendar year. I can't see any of the transactions from the actual season.

This also is happening in my fictional league, so it's not just a historical league issue. I just came on here to report it, and saw this thread. After searching some more, it looks like this same thing has been reported as far back as OOTP 8. The problem is the game deletes the transaction log on the first day of the offseason and starts a new one, so you lose January-September if you generate the almanac on Jan. 1st. It seems to me the simple fix would be to change the auto-delete to Jan. 1st instead of the first day of the offseason. I'd really like to see this fixed, since not having > 3/4 of the transactions saved is kind of a big deal to me.

I agree this has been a big deal for me who likes to sim large chunks and then enjoy the league history. Trolling player histories to see if a guy got traded is more like a research job than fun.
Yes, if it can be done easily please put transaction logs on the calendar year (or Jan. 2) rather than the fiscal year.
