BZ 3442: Pitcher Stuff consistently low in imported OOTP 8 game

As battists asked, I have created this thread for my specific problems.

Here's my explanation from a previous post:
I have imported a custom 16 team league with a 108 game schedule from OOTP 8 into OOTP 10. I have played 3 seasons since the import now and have noticed some drastic problems with the ratings of every pitcher in the league. The highest stuff rating of any pitcher in the league is an 11 out of 20. There are only 9 pitchers who have a stuff rating over 7 out of 20. This means 5 star pitchers with 6 or below in the stuff category. In the two years since the input league batting averages have jumped from .259 to .301 and league ERA's have gone 4.09 to 5.35. Is there anyway I can fix the ratings?

Recently now, whenever I open up OOTPX and try to load this league it loads to 100 percent and then I get an error message saying: OOTP Baseball 10 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avaliable.

So now I can't even open the league. Help is appreciated.

Could you zip up your OOTP 8 .dat files and FTP them up to the FTP site as per the instructions in the How To FTP Your Files to us thread and we'll try a conversion through 9 to 10 to see what is happening.

Okay I went ahead and uploaded the league file from OOTP 8 as dmanrules111.zip and the current OOTPX file that isn't working for me is uploaded as dmanrules111X.zip Look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks

Alright, so, I downloaded your dmanrules111X file, and opened it in OOTP 10 . . . no problem, it opened right up.

So, it seems we have two separate issues here. Why your game is crashing, and why your pitchers have no "stuff."

I have logged the second issue as 3442, and we'll see if Markus can figure something out. Unfortunately, I'm not terribly hopeful that there's anything Markus will be able to do to straighten things out. Just wanted to let you know that.

Meanwhile, it would help us a lot if you could create a second thread for the crash issue, and we can work through that one separately...
