Messages/Events Screw up pitching rotation.

I'll try to be clearer than the title.

I use 7 day lineups and sim 1, 2 or possibly 4 or more games at a time. When certain events occur, say an injury, that stop the sim, I'll go ahead and place the guy on the DL and reset my roster. After that I redo my 7 day lineups.

The problem is that sometimes the day has not advanced due to the event. If I forget this and redo my 7 day lineups the advance to the next day offsets the pitching rotation and can cause the AI to start the wrong pitcher.

It's a subtle problem but bothersome. I think that the pitching rotation should not be tied to the 7 day lineup but set by the rotation established on the pitching page.

Why no BZ number?

I'm not sure, Rch. It looks, on the surface, like it's more a feature request or addition, at least. You state pretty clearly that the issue is the result of not watching the calendar, rather than anything inherently wrong with the game engine. I can log it as a request, but IMHO only, I wouldn't be optimistic. Am I wrong?

You may be right but it is a poor implementation that causes one to have to check the day has advanced. Maybe a pop up after putting the guy in the DL to remind you to finish the day

It also affects online leagues where the commish may have had a "kick out" from a sim and the lineups get out of synch. When a league does 2 week sims your pitching staff can get terribly screwed up ie 3 pitchers will go on 2 and 3 days rest and others don't pitch at all. I think the bug is, "why does the AI not follow the rotation as set on the pitching page". If it did that we wouldn't have a problem to report.

Thanks for the reply though.
