Error 202 Upload error

Help. I am getting an error 202 upload error when I have the newest file and the patch. But now when I try to export and also when I try to get a file, I get this error. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem.... seem like if I turn off my firewall prior to exporting then export goes through ok.

Not sure if this will help wiith downloading.

Another thing....

When I try to download the latest file for the league through the game, it says 'Error: Could not get file information'.

I really need some help!

I'm having the same problem - all after I'd downloaded the 11.1.8 patch. Even turning off my firewall, I get the same errors. Can't download league files. Can't upload team file.

You posted this in the ootp10 forum, but this sounds like you are running ootp11.

If that is correct, then you just need to make sure that you have the proper accountsdata_gms.dat file from your commish and it is installed into your saved_games/league.lg/settings folder.

Not being able to download or upload the game is the first sign of not having the correct file there.

Did that. Didn't work.

if you want to run an FTP trace and send me the log file, I can look at it and see if your file is just not correct or if there is something else going on for you.

To turn on ftp trace, on the main screen, hit the game preferences button -> Troubleshooting tab -> Choose "Write FTP debug info into file"

Then load your league, attempt a download and an upload. Then go back to the main screen -> Game Preferences -> Troubleshooting and hit the button to open ftp_trace.txt and send that info to me.

I am having the Same error -202 in one of my leagues. I have run the FTP trace. Can you assist me in locating the upload error????
