1970's MLB Fictional Quickstart

Here it is,my first attempt at a fictional quickstart,it's a fictional MLB quickstart starting in 1971 with 26 Major league teams.I personally tested and retested using custom Player creation modifiers,League Totals and league totals modifiers to get the league just right.League wide ERA's should hover right around the 4.00 mark with league batting averages being around .260.There are also 3 levels of Minors(A,AA,AAA) with teams and leagues of the ERA.The MLB team all have uniforms and logos while the minor league teams have generic jerseys and logos. Its a great league for anyone who's a fan of 1970-85 baseball, which IMO was the most balanced era in MLB history. The QS is available here:Baseball_In_The_70s.zip Download File

Hey sweet man, thanks. I was actually about to get started with a 1969 historical game to play as my Royals from the beginning. But this will do just fine.

I really put a lot of effort into this during beta,so I'm glad that you guys like it.I tried to make it so a 50 homer season was a special season with 60 being a once a generation type thing and judging by the history,I think I achieved that.

Try simming up until the end of the season, say last week of October and then try it.The reason I believe you're having trouble is that you are already "in season" as of February 1.

File Front didn't work for me even though I think I turned my automatic download manager off. Thanks to Padre Fan for hosting because the download worked like a charm from there. So glad that you've provided these mods for so many years, PadreFan, including for PureSim. I have supported both games and developers since their early roots. I'm getting curious about PC Replay Baseball that you now sponsor.

Is there a way to use this with OOTP X? I'm looking for an interesting quick start that will work with the new version.

Aaaaa... I think this quickstart is for OOTP X. It was posted in the OOTP X Mod Forum. It works for me in OOTP X just fine.
