Cooperstown Baseball League Final..I hope :)

Hey all,

Padresfan please update and replace the file :P

Rosters:

99% of players have correct ht/wt and uniform number
Imported /w neutralized/career stats then edited
Deleted 4 duplicate players, imported replacements
Edited many pitchers to relect era appropriate pitch types
Edited several position players to reflect actual defensive ability

This game setup is best for playing out the games, having all super players does not setup for everyone to be statitical stars. For example: Babe Ruth and Ted Williams hit for average and power, but you might see Ken Griffey Jr. hit .230 but get 38HR. I've seen Christy Mathewson go 22-1 with a 3.80 era, and the go 12-17 with a 2.20 era lol

Here is the file and updated excel roster list. The lineup and rotation are not updated in the excel file.

Roster file
Cooperstown Baseball League.lg.rar

Roster list
Cooperstown.xls

Good Luck,

Coop

Yup

I removed all the unessesary logo and pic files from the saved game to make it smaller

Negro Leagues file is almost completely entered, will still take some time to balance the rosters and edit. Logos done, No Pepper will be doing the uniforms when he has some time.

Thanks again bro, hope your vacation was nice

Coop

BTW I would think this would be the only file nessesary the other Coop files are now obsolete. I also have the All Time Teams file here for you

It has all major league franchises represented by the best team in history (highest win total, except Expos '94 strike) performance. '27 Yankees, '91 Mariners ect... Imported with Neutralized Stats. Nice little addition, I wanted a break between projects.

Any way to post a version of this with generic left-right batter/pitcher splits?

Love this set and appreciative of all the hard work you put into it.

Just wondered for those who play using this roster set, what's the best way to handle a season/dynasty? How do you handle injuries, I'd assume there is no financials, do you play a season at a time or can you run a dynasty?

Thanks for your responses!

I have just ran single seasons. Playing out games, taking turns running each team.

Whats nice is you can change anything really and try out other stuff.

Default is no or low injuries, since you have a full 40 man roster, you can run normal injuries, I may try that out soon. I just have enjoyed playing with the all time greats, it would be rough to see Babe or The Kid go down with an injury, but you got plenty of people to pick you up.

I'm sure this is easy, but for some reason I'm having trouble using this database. I tried opening the "saved game" and it told me world.dat was missing.

I'm sorry...i got it working...disregard

Is there an option to run just a single season or do you need to save the template and just run a season, delete the league and start over or am I totally making this too hard?

I'm playing as Baltimore but it keeps telling me to take players off of Waivers in Washington. I than took over Washington and it won't let me take them off waivers. I don't get it.
