With the announcement that the latest OOTPX patch is due out later today, I am finally able to release this patch.
IMPORTANT: Do not use this patch until exporting SQL files from the new OOTPX patch (10.4)! If you are using the development tracker, be sure to use this patch as soon as you upgrade, or your development will not be correct.

There is a patch readme file included. I have not updated the utility's readme, so all the enhancements are in this new readme. There's no conversion required for this patch, although there is one additional SQL file needed from the OOTP data dump. Details in the patch readme.

You will need to have StatsLab Patch 1 installed before you can take this patch, as it only includes updated files.

Enhancement List:
- New Hall of Fame voting module
- New Widgets feature - allows you to generate small HTML files containing tables of standings or stats leaders that can be displayed on your league home page
- New Milestones page lets you see who's approaching a statistical milestone or record
- wOBA decoupled from season metrics and incorporated throughout the util
- Fielding stats, career metrics, win shares, and season metrics added to leaderboards/draft history pages
- Draft utility can now be configured to skip picks, allowing you to create sandwich pick rounds in the util
- Enhanced SQL file load management tools
- Several other minor enhancements and fixes
Patch 2.1
- Custom award voting

Patch 2.2
- You can now schedule your draft out in serpentine fashion.
- You can now display, filter, and sort players based on feeder league stats in the team war room.
- The draft board and team war room pages have been made more efficient to provide faster page load times in leagues with a large number of players.
- Draft board will now display the time a pick was made if logged in as a commissioner.
Patch 2.3
- New Stat of the Day page
- Manually add players to HOF ballot

As with all amateur development, there's probably some bugs that have slipped through the cracks. Feel free to send me any questions via PM or post them here in this forum. I tend to respond to PM's a bit faster, though, and will do my best to fix any issues asap.

There were a handful of minor fixes that need to go in, so I'm releasing Patch 2.1 via the same download link as before.

Two new additions to StatsLab are included as well:
1. Custom award voting
2. General Manager of the Year voting

Could you do us a favor and list the fields that should be checked in the configure MySQL section of OOTP? I've noticed that what's in the ReadMe doesn't quite match the fields that are listed in OOTP.

Patch 1.2.2 is now available for download via the regular Patch 2 link. Enhancements primarily to the draft utility:
1. You can now schedule your draft out in serpentine fashion.
2. You can now display, filter, and sort players based on feeder league stats in the team war room.
3. The draft board and team war room pages have been made more efficient to provide faster page load times in leagues with a large number of players.
4. Draft board will now display the time a pick was made if logged in as a commissioner.
5. Other minor fixes.

Patch 2.3 is now available. Mostly just fixes, but there is one new feature which is already one of my favorites: Stat of the Day.

Inspired by BB-Ref's blog and some friends in the PBRL, StatsLab's Stat of the Day is enabled in the Last Sim module and will provide a daily unique statistical insight into your league. The page will change daily, and there are 183 different SOTD's, so it'll be 6 months real-time before you start seeing the same ones again.

Some examples include the following:
- Most Home Runs by Age
- Most Walks in a Season by Batter Height
- Highest Number Of Team Runs Scored Relative to League
- Most Career Wins Without Being An All-Star
- Most Earned Runs Without Allowing An Unearned Run
- More Walks Than Hits In A Season
- Highest Percentage of Team Runs Knocked In By One Batter

Many thanks to the PEBA for testing and providing some great suggestions to go into this new page.

Also, you can now force the HOF ballot to contain specific players by adding their player ID on the HOF Admin page.

I get an error when I try to update player development. The same error is repeated again and again.

"Unknown column 'pitching_ratings_misc_ground_fly' in 'field list' "

Which then ends with the following error:

"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/majorlea/public_html/utility/gen_functions.php on line 38"

Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Looks like you upgraded either from the OOTP9 version or from an earlier patch without running through the appropriate conversion.

Try lowercase. The link you posted doesn't exist, but the lowercase version does.

that is what i have it set up as in StatsLab . You are right if i enter the webaddress Index of /widgets I get the right thing. However i can't seem to get StatsLab to see the directory.

I don't know if i should change the HTML root setting. If i do that will screw up all the html pages links for StatsLab and also the formatting for StatsLab because it use the images that are uploaded with all the HTML reports.

Something's not right in what you're reporting. /home/username/www.ootpleague.com can't be your HTML Root setting in StatsLab if the util is looking for /home/rickhamp/www.ootpleague.com/widgets. Are your HTML files not also in a sub folder of /home/rickhamp/www.ootpleague.com? If not, you should make sure that the widgets folder and your HTML folder are both in a subfolder of your HTML Root directory. You should also verify the permissions of the widgets directory.

If I'm still misunderstanding, shoot me a PM with a temporary commish password into your StatsLab install and I'll take a closer look.

Also, a minor clarification: OOTPOU is Getch's utils for online leagues, and also an incredibly useful tool, although a bit different. StatsLab are my tools. There are pros and cons of both, I just don't want anyone to read this and get confused. I'd encourage leagues considering StatsLab to also consider OOTPOU, which has large advantages in simplicity of use and lower server requirements.

looking at the widget there are html styles that are in the widgets.
EX: wdgT, WdgH etc. I understand how to edit these however where is the style sheet file located.

I was out of the country when this was released and have been pretty busy over the holidays, so I just now upgraded to this for my OOTPX leagues.

I just wanted to say I love the stat of the day, thanks a ton. As our league sims daily and we have decades and decades of history, this is just hugely fun for me and several others in the league.

Any idea if the .php will work for the Statslab for ootp9 as well? I'll likely go ahead and try it there too on my own to see, but we're getting close to our 100th season in our online league and I can only imagine how much fun this would be there
