Noob morale question

I'm learning the game playing off of Icy's MLB template. I asked the AI to adjust my ML roster and noted that all of the demoted players were, understandably, Very Unhappy regardless of their expectations. But demoted players on AI-managed teams (the same day) are not Unhappy for the most part and, in fact, seem mostly to be at Normal.

What's up with this?

Happiness/unhappiness tends to be built up over time. If you have a guy who was languishing on the bench for a month and then you demote him to AAA to get him more PT, he's not suddenly going to start singing the praises of your team. Give him a month or at least a couple weeks and then re-check.
