Quick-Play
I was playing a game in spring training, controlling everything. I de-selected the Pause after feature and thought I clicked on the option to Quick-play up to the 3rd inning when I planned to start warming up my next pitcher and decide when adn who to substitute in over the next 2 innings.
I did something wrong and the game just never stopped running. Clicking the Pause ... feature didn't seem to affect anything nor could I access the Substitutions window. Can someone tell me how to terminate the quick-play or stop play so I can make substitutions? |

Doing that while a baseball game is in progress can be problematic. Someone else will probably be along soon with more detailed information, but as far as I know the only way to interrupt the quick-simming is to stab the Pause button over and over as fast as you can until it stops… which almost certainly won't be when you want it to.
The fact that it didn't automatically stop when you hit the third inning concerns me a little. I haven't heard about that being a problem.

Yeah, the problem is that you have to time that click for just between plays, it seems. That's why rapid clicking eventually works. Ironically, the faster your computer, the harder this will get. I'm wondering if setting the PbP speed for slow makes pausing easier.
Anyway, I think deselecting pause after each play overrides any quick-play option. The game just continues on from that point until you pause it again. |
