Team Control

I have myself as a GM of a team and a different person for a field manager. Before I start my scheduled game, my name is showing up controlling the team. I can change the control to the manager, but am getting tired of doing it before every game. How do you set the field manager to control the team?

Ah, you and I probably have the same style of play. I like to start a game with my manager in control of the field in all respects, but I might come down from my GM box later in the game and take over some aspect by going to options and setting a team control to me.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to start with your AI manager in control by default when you go to play out a game, unless there is some trick that I have not thought of. So, like you, I must click all team control boxes before each game and set controls to my manager.

Even if you delegate every aspect of team control in your manager options to your AI manager, there is no option to delegate field control to your manager and therefore your own GM name will still appear in the in-game team controls by default. I think this is because the developers assumed that it would be of the most convenience to the most game players who normally will want to control their side in a game. Otherwise, they would just sim it by using Quick-Play instead of Manage.
