Question: lets saya guy is at 1 star but has the potential of 5 stars. will his potential be hindered by bringing him up to quick or qill he eventually get that potential either way. also should i leave those high potential guys in the minors?

Markus Heinsohn (the game developer) has said in the past that having a player in way over his head in a league that he is not ready for may negatively affect not only his current performance but his potential as well. The game is designed, I believe, so that you are required to bring up players at the right stage of their development, so you should leave budding stars down in the minors until they are ready. You will want to move them up a level at a time as you see them develop, indicated by their current ratings.
