For 2007 rosters, head over to the Rosters section of the forum (in the Mods section). Cubbyfan and haveband have released a brand new set for 07 with complete minors, and there are two other sets available as well. They're just saved games; download them, unzip, and place the resulting folder in your saved games location.
If you want to use Lahman, it's very easy. No need for any software besides OOTP- just download the comma-delimited version (csv) of the database, put it in a location on your computer that you can find when you launch OOTP, and start a historical league from the wizard. OOTP should guide you through the steps. Lahman will be a good choice for any league before 2007; if you care about having current prospects and minor leaguers, better to get one of the roster sets from the rosters forum. |
