Thanks for the answer, but that seems to answer if the comp. sets The team focus, what I was wondering is does it matter what I set team focus too?

There's some speculation about this in the thread I linked above, but no one seems to be sure. It would likely have an effect if you leave roster moves under AI control. It may also determine what kind of trade offers your team receives (I think this is likely). Perhaps (though I personally doubt it) it may affect fan interest. Otherwise, if you're controlling GM moves, I don't see what effect it might have, but I could easily be forgetting something.

Good speculations. I never thought of those; hence, I never did anything with that setting because I thought it was for delegation to AI control only. Now I will be experimenting and looking for any differences.

I would THINK that it would change the owner's expectations.

Before the season starts the owner will send you an e-mail telling you how he expects you to do this season. I would think that if you're rebuilding he would be slower on the trigger to fire you, and if you were in Win Now mode your job might be in serious jeopardy should you get off to a slow start.

Likewise, if you play with 'Owner determines budget', I would think that rebuilding might reduce what he's willing to let you play with and Win Now might increase it.
