Team Rosters from different seasons

I am trying to create a league in the 2007 format (3 divisions, 2 leagues), but with each team from a different season (ie: '27 Yankees, '06 Mariners, '00 Devil Rays, etc)

I checked through the manual and having little luck find instructions on how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THanks.

Here's how I imported the 1927 Yankees from the Lahman Database into my Fictional League:
  1. In the offseason, went to League Setup, Edit League Structure.
  2. Clicked the Import Hist. Team button.
  3. Navigated to where the Lahman Database is stored in my computer, clicked on Master.csv and then Confirm.
  4. Entered the season year, 1927, clicked Refresh Teams List, selected the 1927 New York Yankees from the drop-down window, then Import Team (you can read the manual about the other options on this screen).
  5. Don't forget to delete unwanted teams from your divisions and then Generate Schedule.
You'll notice the strange birthdates on the roster in my example; that's because I was using a fictional test league currently dated 2009 and the game uses that year to subtract from the players' ages in 1927 to calculate their birth years. The players do have correctly dated seasonal stats up through 1926, however.

Thanks much for the assistance!

So, What i need to do is create a fictional Leage with the regular 2007 structure, then import each team individually and delete the "fake" teams, correct?

That's it, I believe. Remember that when you delete teams, it throws the players into the free agent pool. You may want to delete all those fictional free agents before proceeding. Don't forget to generate the schedule!

All that worked great, thanks.

I am trying to figure out how to mass-delete all the free agents. Is there a way to do that?

If you are commish, then there is a button at the bottom of the Free Agents page called "Delete all Free Agents." Beware, it means what it says; everybody goes, so you want to do this before any of your historical players go into the free agent pool.
