Hello,

I'm new to the boards, and I definitely want to say OOTP is by far the best baseball sim out there. I just had a few questions...

Do pitchers warm up in the game? I played the demo sometime back, and can't remember if that was included.

I also remember in previous versions where you had a life away from baseball with kids and everything. Is there any consideration to bringing this back and updating it? It seemed like a deep feature that really added to the experience.

Yeah, there is a warmup pitcher feature.

I know you can "go on vacation", but I have no idea what it consists of.

I don't think that's what Dregen was talking about. The vacation feature in Manager Options just allows you to delegate everything according to the vacation settings; who does what while you are gone, whether you are "contacted" while you are "gone" for something important. It really is just to facilitate auto-play; that is, simming over periods of time.

Yes, there was a module like it but they have not brought back that family life stuff yet. Maybe next version. It may have been posted on the Suggestions board, come to think of it.
