A Good Buy?

I played the demo and it looked like something I wanted to buy but I have Baseball Mogul 08 and was wondering if buy OOTP would be a good buy?

I am kind of biased since I have purchased every version but OOTP 2006, but I can say that this is the best buy in the industry. I have owned all the computer and board baseball sims and switched to OOTP years ago because I was getting sick of paying for DMB disks every year and after spending over $1000 on the game and disks tried OOTP and have been here since.

If you like BM08, you will love OOTP2007. I look at it this way, for around 10 cents a day I get my baseball gaming fix - I would call this a good buy.

Probably only going to find the game here. Now when 2008 comes out you will probably get it cheaper

ok I was afraid of getting 07 if 08 came out like next month. Can you buy it anyway besides credit card?

Dangit. I don't wanna pay the extra 5 bucks. That means I'll have to get my parents to buy it and me pay them.

If you like the game with the 2007 real roster set, perhaps you should try to collect some more information about this game before you purchase.

OOTP is a great game, I think is the best if you are a historical simmer, or the fictional player.
But some people, specially who prefer to play with the real current players, find BM a better game. (It comes with the real players, right?)

It is all the matter of taste, so it is up to you totally.
But I think it is worth little more research before the purchase.

I suggest you try reading some of the roster related threads in Mod forum.
