Deleting Sub Leagues
Scanned around for a good 30-45 min for the answer to this, but no luck.
Is there a way for me to delete sub-leagues and NOT have the players go to the FA Pool, aka, delete the players as well? Thanks in advance.

Jesse (or Terry), I see your question has gotten no play here or on the General Discussions board. The reason for that is probably evident now; there is no easy way to do what you are talking about.
It did occur to me that you could delete the contents of the free agent pool as commissioner, but that would take all of the major league free agents with them. You could temporarily retire the ones that you wanted to keep and unretire them when finished, but I noticed when I tested that theory that retiring players from the free agency pool was a bit dicey. They tended to disappear, although they could still be located through search. Anyway, that's the best that I can do. Maybe somebody else will still have a better suggestion. |

Thanks for at least responding. Right now, it's the only lead I've gotten.

If your looking to simply trying to remove some teams and keep others you could try the following: 1. Create a new league with the number of teams that you wish to have. Don't worry about the cities names or the players. 2. Release all players into FA and delete them. 3. Delete the teams 4. Move the teams from your old league to the new. 5. Keep the old league so that you have history, I am not sure if the history is converted over to the new league or not. 6. Keep the teams and players in the old league but change the settings that FA cannot sign with other leagues and disable trades between leagues. 7. Make sure to create a new schedule for both leagues. I know you don't want the teams but you could simply just let the league play in the background and every so often delete a few teams until you have only 4 teams in the league. I have not tested this but it should work.....

Was looking to delete entire leagues, and figured out how.
Say for example we want to delete the entire Nippon league. We release all players into the FA pool, whereupon they go into the MLB pool AND the Nippon pool I believe. You can then go to the Nippon FA Pool and delete all free agents there, and poof, league empty and deletable. Thanks for all your help guys.
