"activating" a backed up game ?

OOTP 2007 - How do I activate a backed up game ? I have a bunch in my Saved games league folder and I wanted to run a test league. Thanks !!

I assume you're talking about the in-game backup procedure, because otherwise it would be as simple as "Load Game."

If so, then I also assume that nothing has changed in the procedures spelled out in this thread from 2006, since it's still on the FAQ board:
