Walkthrough

Just downloaded the demo of OOTP 8. I really really really want to like this game. I am just overloaded right now as most of my baseball text sim experience is with Baseball mogul which is obviously nowhere as deep.

Anyways, I have loaded a Majors Quick Start from 2007 on so I have all the real players names, teams, etc. I just am not sure what to do next as I don't want to miss anything.

So has anyone ever written a walkthrough of exactly what they do when they start a new game?
