Cash money and minor league contracts
So how much impact do minor league contracts have on my finances? I can't find a dollar value for them. I'm desperately trying to free up some money so I can offer Rogers Hornsby an extension.
Also, I haven't been paying much attention to my minors (got it set up for the AI to handle moving players up and down) and I just realized I've got 184 players at the R level. I'm assuming this isn't normal. Could this be killing my payroll? they're all on minor league contracts. Any advice would be appreciated. |

However, 184 players at R level, although no financial impact, could be a bit cumbersome as to sorting through the rubbish to find the hidden gems. And what about playing time, from a development standpoint? If you are not in charge of minor league transactions, having delegated them to your AI manager, you can restore order by setting a roster limit for the rookie league of no less than 35 players, as recommended by the game, but maybe no more than 50. If you are in charge of minor league transactions, then you want to start taking out some of the trash down there! |
