Noob question RE: Dumps

I see all of the options regarding monthly or annual data dumps to various formats but I have no clue or understanding of the purpose of such dumps. Can any vets out there clue in one old clueless fart?

Dumps

I agree. Ihave no idea what these are. Is there a way to dump this info into a text file format?

Its basically data dumps so that you can open the data in an external program like Excel, or Access, or Foxpro or something like that. Most likely used for data mining type stuff where you can sort the data, or maybe write some SQL queries to pull out only the data that you want....that sort of thing.

I believe that with some of the data, you can export the data, make changes to it, then import back into the game. Im not entire sure about that part though

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.
