complete noob this season question

ok im a complete newb just got OOTP8 because cant get hold of a pal version of a baseball game here in the UK for the xbox so looking to get into a baseball game, and ive played football manager and EHM so im not new to txt based games, and im getting used to some stats but it would help if i could have this seasons roster with last season stats added aswell as pics and logos so i can easily identify players and teams etc specially names etc for the minors as i was gonna start low then work my way up so i dont have to worry about certain things like waivers etc that i dont quite understand yet but will get used to in time i know ootp9 is just around the corner but i wanted to jump right in after catching a few games on tv here but i dont wanna play over a season thats already gone with so many trades an stuff that would of happened too i dont wanna get too confused with RL while im still learning things, any help would be apreciated. id prefer a database to a savegame or quickstart as id like to start with just 1 human manager with the default settings on everything so i dont get too bogged down or have something im used to turn off or whatever, again any help is apreciated

Look in the mods forum for Quickstarts with everything. Cubbyfan's roster is especially popular.

Whoa. Periods and spacing are your friends.

If you just want to familiarize yourself with OOTP while not getting confused with RL baseball, why not just create a small fictional league?

Also, yes, punctuation and grammar are your friends. It's the Queen's English you're butchering, after all.
