joe unknowns in minors

ok im starting from the bottom of the ladder in an mlb quicksave i found and i got a bunch of joe unknown guys, now in game its hard to distiguish each of them specially when trying to put the right guy in the right order or position from the game menu at the start of a gameday, is there any way to nickname these guys or name them so i can tell who im putting where? otherwise i might have to start over from a higher level which i dont wanna do cos im still kinda new to ootp and baseball in general but like the idea of the game, any help is greatly apreciated

Either you have ghost players on or you fiddled with the names list incorrectly. In either case you should be able to sort by position if you are on the "default" display (should be a dropdown top left).

I don't have ghost players on, but others might and be able to help.

If you really want to individually name a player, just go to his player page and then the Player Editor. You may be able to do nicknames just on his player page, but I haven't done this in so long I just can't remember.
