Importing from Lahmanns DB ???

When one start a historical dynasty you use the Lahmann DB. OK

However the link to this Lahmann DB are then set for yearly getting new players into the league.
I do think and hope that over the years you might even add players to the DB before the actual year happens. That´s messing with the csv-file outside the game.

You might find out that you might like one player to be included in a later year, but he wasn´t in the DB when you started your dynasty.
Will this be OK to do.

Also I think I remember somewhere I had the oppertunity to actually import a single player to the game while or after a season. I´m talking about a single player in the Lahmanns DB. He would be included to whatever team he played for that year and his real-stats included.
All other players in your game would still be unaffected.

Am I wrong on this, did I dream it or what ????

You can import any player from the Db at anytime you like. You can assign him to any team you like, or you can have him come in as an FA.

I new I saw it, but I can´t find it and the manual tooooo big and me being lazy.

I´m testing out CBL Cardinals 2008 roster set and can´t find a couple of players in it that has been performing in the majors in 2008.

Problem is I can´t find the import click...
The one I found is in Game Setup , League setup, Import/export but I can only The Importort stat states that ALL stats will be overwritten and in no way I can specify a certain Lahman Db ID.

WHERE DO I GO TO FIND the import one player from Lahmanns DB.

I found IT.....

From the Free Agent page you can Import a historical player while you´re in commis mode.

Heaven sent. This game is just soooooooooo BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG it takes a very long time to get back to something you saw some days or weeks ago. It´s like looking for a sentence you saw in a book, and you can´t remember the book or title.
