Fielding ratings

If anybody looks not trying out OOTP9
I would like to know why Russel Martin has no rating as a catcher in quick start for OOTP9
Mike Napoli has a 8 as a catcher.

I am looking at the profile of these two players and catching ability and arm is on RMartin , 1 arm ability 11.
Napoli has 2 and 10
but Napoli has a line below saying Rating at catcher 8

also on the position rating Napoli has that 8, Martin NO POSITION RATING AT ALL

Going in the editor I see experience rating 200 on both and resulting rating a bit higher on Napoli.
Is that the reason. It looks like Russel Martin isn´t very good catcher with NO rating.

Explain or set me right
