Where is bullpen warmup tab??

Not really new to the game just didn't know where to post this inane question and didn't want to waste space in the Gen Discussions section.

Enjoying messing around with OOTP9. Sounds...ball flight etc...terrific. Just wish I could see the 'ball' more clearly.

Anyway...started the 2008 season and for the life of me I can't find where I go to change the bullpen warmup rule. I never clicked it when setting up the league but it is requiring the pitcher to warmup and I don't like messing with that. I just want to pick the pitcher. No wonder Papelbon blew his save!!

It's not on the v9 online manual yet and I couldn't find it in the v8 manual.

Any help would be appreciated so I can enjoy a game without thinking of warming up the guys.

Thanks

It's in the setup screen before you start playing out a game. It's a dropdown that allows you to use the bullpen or not. If you use it you need to drag and drop the pitcher into the bullpen section of the substitution screen.

Thanks alot Spot...

I looked all over in the general league files etc but didn't do any drop downs before an actual game setup.

Just finished my first game with the my 2k8 White Sox losing a close one to the Indians on opening day at Progressive park. So far I am very impressed. Love the sounds and animation.

Just wish we could control our runners on advanced bases but I guess I can live with that.

I finally heard the ball hitting the mitt on 'ball' calls. Just barely. That is great. So I'm going to my MS sound adjuster program to see if I can make those louder and maybe adjust the crowd to softer. Will be excellent when they get the sound deal polished.

Anyway...I'm rambling and find this version a refreshing breeze!

Thanks again.

It is the very first screen when you click to play a game. Look on the left side and you'll see a whole lot of options like whether play by play is fast, full details, sound is enabled, etc. One of the choices is whether to use the bullpen rule. If you choose to use the warmup rule, then the bullpen will appear in game.

By the way, you only need to set this once. It will pin this setting for any future games in this particular league.

Thanks again fellas. Works great. These old eyes saw it a few attempts earlier but it was shaded out. Guess that was when I was looking after the game started.

WSox won the game in another sqeaker. Gotta go work in the yard.

This OOTP9 is getting a hold on me. Good stuff.
