How to edit a player

I haven't played ootp in a while and only quickly dabled with ootp8. I got ootp9 and love it. It is one of the most advanced sims I have ever played.

Now to my problem, I am trying to make an accurate roster for the Mariners. I need to make Richie Sexton bad, but there are some other things I want to do as well, for example. I found out how to make Brandon Morrow a starter, but can't figure out how to edit his ratings. I started out in Manager Mode I think, refused to get fired with commissioner mode on.

I think I figured it out, it is on the right hand side of the scouting page

You should be in commish mode. At the top of the player profile all the way to the right is the editor tab. Once in the editor all the ratings are on the right hand side, you can edit the ratings and/or the potentials as well as injuries, fielding ratings, suspensions, which team the player is on, age, contract... (you get the picture!) Have fun!
