Arguing with Umps

In the older verision of the game you could do this- is that feature in the game any more?

also on contracts what do the numbers in blueby your offer mean- +100,000 +100,000 -10,000- it's not facotored into the contract -but I don't understand what it does mean? trade payoff etc

That adds that number to the contract. +1 mil will add one million to that year.

And yes, arguing with umps is in the game.

Is it the ball players that do the arguing or is the manager or both?

Can they get tossed out of the game?

Players can get tossed, but I'm not sure about managers.

Just had Cy Young get ejected in my historical sim (now in 1907) - it was in the 7th inning of what turned out to be his 400th win, and he got ejected arguing a 3rd strike...while batting! (and he was leading 6-1!)

And get this, to celebrate his 400th win, the league suspended him for 6 games for bumping the umpire!

He shouldn't get so upset and go pushing umpires... make him seek simulated counseling for simulated anger management.

Players will argue 3rd strikes on occasion and get tossed.
You might see players or managers or coaches argue in the pbp, but that's just window dressing.
You can't choose when to argue like you could in OOTP5 (and maybe other versions too), the game decides.

Funny thing is, he got stuck at 398 wins at the end of the previous season, going winless in his last 5 starts. He didn't take long to get to 400 the next year, though, winning his first two starts rather convincingly...along with the ejection, suspension, and simulated counseling! (I kinda like that!)
