Team Retiring/Moving?
Greetings, I just found out about this game today and have been messing around with it for a bit. Now I have a small question(I'm assuming, could be wrong) but is it possible to retire a team? I noticed in the history archives of the game it shows the years that a certain team has been in the league for, I'm wondering if teams can get retired or if say I change the city will it show this change here?
If thats confusing I'll give an example. Brooklyn Mets have been in the league since 1950 to 1999 but then become the New York mets in 2000. What I'm asking is will the New York Mets take over what would have been the Brooklyn Mets in the archives and say "New York Mets 1950 to 2000"? or will the two teams get seperate lines? Clear enough? Just curious and I can't find anything on it. |

If you simply rename the team and don't actually delete it from the league, I believe it will just stay on the same line. You MAY get a BR-style second line with the old names, but that could just be wishful thinking on my part.
