When can I import?

Not new to the series, but I haven't been able to find an answer to this. I know in the past you had to be in the off-season. Is this still true? This is going to affect when I buy the game. I am going from 2007 to OOTP9.

You can import at anytime.

I can't say this with 100% certainty, but since OOTP2006 the game has used basically the same database structure everything that is in your 2007 game will carry across to OOTP 9 - I haven't noticed anything in 2007 that isn't in 9 (with the exception of course of some bugs).
