Contract negotations
One of my players sent me a personal message on May 4 saying that he wanted an extension. He's eligible for free agency at the end of the season, but he's a backup OF who I'd rather wait to see what happens before I bring him back. Maybe he can help me next year, maybe not.

I ignored him.

It's now June 26 in my season and now I'm wondering whether the fact that I've ignored him will have any effect on whether or not he returns. I'm also interested in knowing about this, for future players.
