Batters Not Developing

I have set up a very small league (2 teams) with a 60 day schedule. I set all the batters to the same offensive ratings and the same with the pitchers. I thought it would be interesting to see everyone start with a clean slate. Now, after 4 years not a single batter has changed his hitting ratings. The pitchers have developed and the batters have even developed their pitching somewhat.

Disable Player Development is not checked.
Batter Dev. Speed is 1.000
Pitcher Dev. Speed is 1.000

I don't know, I'm just curious, but could you increase your schedule to 162 and try again?

Sorry, I screwed up and listed this twice (I am new to the game after all). The problem seems to come down to the Holding Batters rating. If you set it above 0 for a hitter his hitting stats are frozen and he develops as a pitcher no matter what the other ratings are and what his position is.

Oh, thanks. I must have missed that thread. Sometimes I more just look for the ones with very few posts. I don't know what you mean by holding batters rating, but I'll check out the other thread.
