Career Mode?

Is there a way to create historical players based on their CAREERS, instead of just on a certain year? I seem to remember you could do that back in OOTP5, but I haven't played any of the more recent OOTP versions, and don't see that option anywhere.

When creating a historical league using the creation wizard, the very first screen gives an option to base guys on career totals, remaining years, peak years or remaining peak years. Same thing when in advanced mode.
