Quitting the game without saving
Is there a way to do it? I accidentally finished a day, which simmed a game, and I wanted to go back to before the game was played. Everytime I exit the game, try to load an old saved game or anything of the like, it saves it's spot beforehand. If I can't no big deal, but it just bugs me when the computer plays my games.

You can not logically exit the game without saving. I agree it would be nice if you could but......
What I have done when I have really screwed-up, is go into Windows Task Manager and "End Task". When you go back into the game it loads up your last saved game. I think there is possibly a chance of some corrupted data if you do this. Probably not a real good way to do this but I have not had a problem with it. |

I don;t think you can either
I must say that I actually like it from the perspective that I don't want to be tempted when something catastrophic happens.
On a mildly related side note, I was playing the other day when my 21 year old superstar pitcher suffered a career ending injury. Of course I was not happy, but as noted above, what could I do. In the process of continuing play, I was called away from the computer. I forgot to save or close the game and our power went out during a storm. When I tried to turn the game back on, it locked up 3 times before it would load the game. When it finally did load it went back to before the career ending injury. So the moral is the above suggestion may work, but there may be some problems if you do so. |
